For the Adios Pro 3, the mission was to carry forward the legacy of the Adios line—delivering a top-tier racing shoe tailored for elite marathon athletes—while pushing performance even further. This phase of development was deeply informed by everything we learned through Adios Pro 1 and 2. A major focus this time was on improving perceived stability and simplifying the overall construction. One of the key innovations was redesigning the Energy Rods system: by removing the separate heel plate used in the previous models and unifying the rods into a single structure, we were able to enhance ride smoothness, improve push-off mechanics, and reduce unnecessary complexity and weight. Athlete feedback continued to play a critical role, especially in optimizing heel fit for a more secure and comfortable feel. This was a collective effort, blending design precision, biomechanical insight, and elite athlete input to create a racing shoe that’s lighter, more stable, and even more responsive than its predecessors.
