For the Adios Pro 2 development project, the focus was on refining and elevating an already high-performing shoe—preserving the key characteristics of the Adios Pro 1 while making the overall build significantly lighter. This was a big collaborative effort that brought together cross-functional teams across design, marketing, and athlete servicing. Close coordination was essential, especially during the extensive testing phases, where feedback loops were established to integrate real-time insights from elite athletes. Our team even traveled to Kenya for on-the-ground testing, working directly with elite athletes to understand performance in authentic training environments. The core challenge was reducing weight without compromising the performance that athletes had come to rely on with the Pro 1. Every decision—from material choices to structural tweaks—was informed by both data and athlete experience, ensuring that the final product delivered on speed, responsiveness, and durability. The result is a shoe that feels lighter without sacrificing the edge that defines the Adios pro 1.
